Amber and I share the same hairstylist (Skye Lewis) so I already knew she has good taste so I was super excited when she reached out about having us capture her wedding. She definitely did not disappoint. From the shades of blue throughout her dress to her handmade flowers, there were lots of personal touches that helped make her day perfect. Her ceremony took place in the gorgeous wildflower meadow at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens followed by an outdoor reception behind the Bake Hall. Her and Sean shared their first dances under strands of string lights strung over the paver patio as an almost full moon rose in the sky. We loved spending the day with them and hope y’all like browsing through some of our favorite images. We also filmed for them too!

I’ve known Ginny forever but hadn’t seen her since high school, so when she reached out to say she was engaged and wanted us to shoot her wedding I was thrilled to say the least. Her and her fiancé (now hubby), Andrew, flew in from Boston for their engagement session and we all immediately hit it off. Ginny and Andrew are just genuinely good people that truly enjoy being with each other and it was our pleasure to spend so much time with them. Their Hermitage wedding was simple and classic and absolutely perfect. Here are some of our favorite images from the day! Hope you enjoy!

Kirstie and Michael are awesome! We first met Kirstie when we shot her sisters wedding a couple years ago. What stood out back then is the same that stands out now, Kirstie’s life is centered around her family. Her parents, her sisters, her son, and now her husband. Michael absolutely adores Kirstie and he’s not afraid to show it. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her or the smile off his face all night.

Angela and Kyle’s wedding was amazing. They both live outside the area now but, since they met in Richmond, it only made sense to return to exchange their vows. I can’t say enough about how classy this wedding was. The ceremony was held at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. It’s easily the most gorgeous church We’ve ever been in. After a traditional catholic ceremony, they boarded the trolley and headed to the John Marshall Ballroom for the reception. During the cocktail hour, the couple snuck away for a private dinner before the real party started. This was such a smart idea because it gave them a few intimate moments with just each other and a chance to actually eat. An amazing 11 piece band greeted the guests as they entered the ballroom for dinner, drinks and dancing (there was no shortage of dancing). There had to be at least 50 guests on the dance floor the entire night and before we knew it was time for the sparkler exit.
